Etihad Airways is in talks to drop large parts of its orders for Airbus and Boeing widebodies, in an effort to reduce growth and stem losses. The airline is in “commercial discussions” with Airbus to cut all 40 Airbus A350-900s it has on firm order plus two A350-1000s.
