Las Vegas-based Allegiant Travel Co., parent of Allegiant Air, has ordered a used Airbus A320, the first directly ordered aircraft from the European manufacturer. It will be powered by CFM56 engines. The order marks Allegiant’s 50th commitment to an Airbus A320 family aircraft. Allegiant owns a fleet of 34 A320 family aircraft.
