Airbus is offering the A330-900 widebody with a 285-min. extended range operations (ETOPS) capability following certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The enhanced ETOPS, up from 180 min. in the basic version of the aircraft, increases the distance to diversion airports to around 2,000 nm, the manufacturer said.
