Spirit A320-first US-built aircraft-completes test flight
The first Airbus A320 aircraft to be produced at the Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama, has flown for the first time. The A320 took off from the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley the morning of Aug. 15. The flight lasted approximately four hours, during which tests were performed on systems, engines and structural performance.

Aeroflot subsidiary Donavia in bankruptcy
A Russian court has declared Aeroflot Airline subsidiary Donavia insolvent following a bankruptcy filing in January when Aeroflot filed on behalf of its two subsidiaries—Orenburg-based Orenair and Rostov-on-Don-based Donavia.
