Transavia France will lease two new Boeing 737-800s from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the lessor announced. GECAS said the aircraft will be delivered in early 2013. Transavia already operates 10 737-800s. It was set up in November 2006 by Air France and the Dutch airline, has been operating scheduled and charter flights since spring 2007 to countries in the Mediterranean from Paris-Orly South.
