The Ascendance Flight Technologies Atea air mobility aircraft gained more commitments during Paris.

French advanced air mobility startup Ascendance Flight Technologies said Tuesday it has new conditional orders for up to 260 of its Atea hybrid electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Ascendance said at the Paris Air Show that the conditional orders were from sustainable aviation lessor Green Aerolease and an undisclosed operator. They take the company’s backlog to 505 units.
The Atea is planned to enter service beginning in 2027. The aircraft is designed to carry a pilot and three passengers up to 450 km (280 mi.) at a cruising speed of 200 km/h.
