Somewhat lost in the consolidation wave that has transformed the US airline industry in recent years has been the dramatic evolution of Hawaiian Airlines, which is quickly becoming a true international carrier. “I can’t think of any other airline that has changed as much as Hawaiian without being involved in a merger,” president and CEO Mark Dunkerley said.
