A Filair passenger aircraft crashed in the Bandundu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Wednesday. According to the Flight Safety Foundation's Aviation Safety Network, all 20 persons on board were killed, although other press reports suggested at least one person survived the crash, albeit with serious injuries. ASN tentatively identified the aircraft as a Let 410. Filair was put on the EU's list of banned airlines in July 2007 (ATW Daily News, July 15, 2009).
