The airline industry was once again dealt its share of challenges in 2011 with economic uncertainty, oil prices, political upheavals and natural disasters all having an impact on operations and profitability.
And yet airlines continued to order new aircraft and operate more efficiently and with a smaller eco impact while also being an essential engine to economic growth. They also provided essential lifelines during catastrophic events such as the Japanese earthquake.
And some did more, excelling in performance regardless of the challenges.
ATW is proud to recognize these standout performers in its 38th Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards. The awards will be presented at a Gala Awards Presentation Dinner on Feb. 13, 2012 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore.
