World Aviation Training Conference and Tradeshow
WATS 2012 "Uniting the airline training community’ – will land in Orlando, Florida on April 17 at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort.
The best way to know what you can expect next year is to know what went on at WATS 2011 in April. That's when close to 900 aviation training executives, decision makers and regulatory personnel from 350 companies, 82 airlines, and 41 countries took part in the biggest aviation training show this year.
Exceptional networking opportunities, extraordinary speakers, and exciting new technologies were the order of the day at this year’s WATS.
Attendees met colleagues, suppliers, and customers in the 40,000 square-foot exhibition hall that featured the latest products and services of 60 of the top training companies, suppliers and manufacturers in the industry and they participated in their choice of more than 80 other presentations given in the four WATS Pilot, RATS Pilot, Maintenance and Cabin Crew conference streams and breakout sessions.
WATS 2011 presenters represented a wide cross-section of the aviation industry, from other aviation associations and organizations to regulatory agencies, airlines, training providers and academia – including the FAA, ICAO, EASA, Air Line Pilots Association, and the Regional Airline Association. They gave an in-depth look at current and future regulatory issues, industry best practices, safety, security, and the latest developments in training technologies and curricula.
