GE Capital Aviation Service signed a memorandum of understanding with CFM International to participate in the company’s unique new product offering for leasing companies called Portable Maintenance for Lessors. Under the terms of the agreement, CFM would provide engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services for leased fleets. The final agreement should be complete by year end.

International Aero Engines has announced ICBC Financial Leasing has firmed an order for an additional five V2500-powered A320 aircraft. The transaction is valued at $90 million and deliveries will take place from 2013 to 2015. It had previously selected the V2500 for 15 A320 family aircraft.

TACA Airlines has selected Hamilton Sundstrand Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.

Pratt & Whitney and IndiGo signed a definitive agreement for PurePower PW1100G-JM engines for 150 Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The agreement includes 300 firm PurePower PW1100G-JM engines with additional options and a long-term PureSolutionSM maintenance agreement. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2015.
