A preliminary analysis of the Nov. 17 Tatarstan Airlines Boeing 737-500 crash in Kazan has determined there was no indication of technical failure in the systems and engines. According to the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), flight recorders showed the pilots tried to land manually as one of the autopilots was turned off.
