FAA is investigating an incident in which a Spirit Airlines Airbus A319 apparently came within 1.6 miles horizontally and 400 feet vertically of a skydiving aircraft. The incident occurred June 30 after the A319 took off from Detroit en route to Dallas/Fort Worth.
