Online travel sites such as Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity are "outperforming" most airline websites in terms of "customer experience," according to a study by California-based Keynote Systems. The study noted that "greater selection is a major inherent advantage for online travel agencies," but stated that the sites are "also creating a better overall online experience for customers."
