An American Airlines 737NG yesterday became the first aircraft in the US to use a "publicly available, commercially designed instrument flight path" when it landed at Bradley International in Hartford, Conn., according to Naverus, the GE Aviation subsidiary that designed the path. Naverus received a Letter of Qualification from US FAA in September 2009 enabling it "to design and validate Required Navigation Performance flight paths for public use in the United States" ...
