AirTran Airways and its flight attendants, represented by the Assn. of Flight Attendants, reached a tentative agreement on a new 42-month contract after two-and-a-half years of negotiations. Terms of the deal were not released but AFA has endorsed the agreement and will send it to members for a ratification vote, which is expected to occur within 30 days.
