German carrier Air Berlin (AB) has announced plans to sell a majority stake in its topbonus frequent flyer program (FFP). “We have decided to migrate topbonus into a new entity and sell the majority of it,” AB CEO Hartmut Mehdorn said, speaking at the release of AB’s third-quarter results (ATW Daily News, Nov. 16).
