Pinnacle Airlines reported a third-quarter net loss of $21.4 million and an operating loss of $32.4 million, which company officials attributed to an after-tax charge of $34.5 million for items related to the recent bankruptcy filings of Northwest Airlines and Mesaba Airlines.
