Avianca will purchase Tampa Cargo and form a strategic alliance with Martinair, which currently holds a 57% share in the Colombian cargo airline. Avianca also will acquire the remaining shares held by private local investors. "In Bogota, Colombia, the parties reached a principle agreement on the sale of 100% of the shares.
