Air France will progressively equip its Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet with noise reduction kits by 2015. The new equipment will reduce the noise generated by these aircraft by up to 8 decibels during descent and approach, starting from 40 km and up to 12 km from the runway. Aircraft upgrades will begin in June and should be completed before the end of 2015.
