Russia’s Aeroflot grounded its aging fleet of six Ilyushin Il-96 aircraft at the end of March. The carrier, which started grounding the type at the end of 2013, has replaced them with Boeing 777-200s. Aeroflot, which ordered 16 777s in 2011, currently operates seven of the type.
