Transavia France will lease two new Boeing 737-800s from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the lessor announced. GECAS said the aircraft will be delivered in early 2013. Transavia already operates 10 737-800s. It was set up in November 2006 by Air France and the Dutch airline transavia.com, has been operating scheduled and charter flights since spring 2007 to countries in the Mediterranean from Paris-Orly South.
