Delta Air Lines is boosting its recently launched Seattle, Washington-Austin, Texas service with a morning flight, its second daily departure on the route, from Oct. 1, the Atlanta-based carrier said July 18.

Also on Oct. 1, Delta will introduce daily nonstop regional service between Seattle and Medford, Oregon, a Pacific Northwest city approximately 438 miles south of Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) International Airport. The Medford route will be operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines, utilizing a 76-seat, two-class configured Embraer E175.

Each of the new routes is configured to entice business passengers from Austin and Medford, with early departures from each city and early evening return flights.

Since July 2016, Delta has added seven daily routes from Seattle, including Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; Eugene, Oregon; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Chicago; Redmond, Oregon; and Raleigh, North Carolina. The airline will begin service to Lihue, Hawaii in December 2017.
