China’s HNA Group subsidiary Lucky Air is applying to the CAAC to open intercontinental routes because of the explosive growth in outbound travel. According to the Chinese regulator, Lucky Air plans to open two new Boeing 787 intercontinental routes from Kunming to Los Angeles, California, and Moscow, Russia.
