FL Technics has installed USB sockets on SmartLynx Airlines Estonia’s A320s.

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has renewed a strategic alliance with Fokker Services to provide the ABACUS FLY program to operators of Dash 8/Q-100s -200s and -300s for three years.

PEMCO World Air Services has redelivered a 737-300 freighter to China-based SF Airlines. The freighter was converted by PEMCO’s partner STAECO in Jinan Shandong, China. SF Airlines plans to add five more PEMCO-converted aircraft this year.

Swedish regional aircraft MRO Täby Air Maintenance has been approved by FAA and EASA to offer full cargo conversion on Saab 340As and 340Bs.

Worldwide Aircraft Services will work with Saab to obtain FAA approval for the installation of the Saab 340A cargo modification service bulletins on 340Bs. Worldwide will oversee the FAA supplemental type certificate process while becoming an approved maintenance organization for the Saab 340 and 2000. It will continue providing MRO for the regional jet to sales and leasing companies and operators.

Component specialist Avtrade has expanded its inventory consignment contract with AFI KLM E&M. Under the terms of the agreement, Avtrade will store and trade more than 7,500 AFI KLM E&M-owned serviceable components and consumables at its UK headquarters for part provisioning, sale, exchange and lease for the Airbus A320 family, A340s, Boeing 737s, 747s, 777s, Bombardier CRJs and Embraer aircraft.

Ameco has carried out its first Sharklet retrofit on an A321 in Chengdu. In addition to Chengdu, the Chinese MRO has begun performing winglet modifications on Boeing aircraft in Beijing, with one winglet installation already completed.
