Lufthansa Group and Amadeus reached an agreement that will see the group’s airlines adopt Amadeus Altéa Departure Control Flight Management, starting with Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo. Amadeus Altéa Departure Control Flight Management automates aircraft load control and optimizes every flight departure by analyzing the passenger and cargo load, calculating fuel requirements and defining the optimal aircraft load distribution. Once implemented across Lufthansa Group, the system will optimize loads for the group’s 3,000 daily flights.

APG has been appointed by UK-based Monarch Airlines as general sales agent in Israel and will be providing full sales and marketing services as well as call center facilities.

UTair Aviation has signed up for Amadeus Airline Fare Families, which enables airlines to brand, differentiate and upsell their travel offers through the indirect channel. UTair Aviation will now be able to clearly showcase the full value of each bundled fare and enjoy greater control over how these are displayed to Amadeus connected travel agents, at every point of sale.

SITAONAIR has been selected by Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) to provide the data link service required to comply with the EU Data Link Regulations for the Single European Sky.
