Final preparations are underway to create a new European airline association, called Airlines for Europe (A4E), which is expected to launch around the third week of January 2016. In June 2015, Europe’s five largest airline groups—Air France-KLM, easyJet, International Airlines Group (IAG), Lufthansa Group and Ryanair—joined forces to lobby on European aviation policy.
