Dallas Aviation, a provider of expendable and rotable aviation parts, has selected Quantum Control MRO and Logistics software to manage business operations and AOG needs near Dallas Fort Worth International and Love Field airports.

AAR has been granted AS9100 certification of its quality management system for manufacturing at the company’s MRO facility near Indianapolis International Airport. The certification covers airframe composites and metal parts, finish coatings and cargo containers. The company can now bid on composite materials used in airframe component assembly and repair.

Boeing and Brazil’s GOL have agreed to implement the Boeing Fuel Dashboard on 737NGs. The software gives GOL operations greater visibility on current fuel-use trends and insights into opportunities for saving fuel. The Dashboard is part of Boeing Edge.

Liebherr Group, which makes and supports commercial aircraft, posted revenue of €8.9 million ($10.6 million) in 2014.

Romania’s Aerostar has now completed 270 C and D checks on Boeing 737CLs and NGs over the past 10 years. With approvals for the Airbus A320 family and BAe 146/Avro RJs, well over 300 heavy-maintenance checks have been carried out on all aircraft types by Aerostar.

Landmark Aviation’s Oakland International Airport location has obtained authorization as a Part 145 Certified Repair Station.
