Alaska Air Group’s board of directors has declared a two-for-one stock split to be given in the form of a stock dividend. The additional shares will be distributed July 9 to shareholders of record as of June 23, 2014.
Germania is training pilots at Lufthansa Flight Training (LFT) again after a two-year break. The airline, which is based in Berlin, will use LFT’s Boeing 737NG and Airbus A320 full-flight simulators in Frankfurt, Berlin, Essen and Munich for the recurrent training of its cockpit crews. The two companies signed a corresponding agreement in May 2014.

Sun Country Airlines has taken delivery of one used Boeing 737-800 aircraft on long-term lease from Air Lease Corp.

Nok Air has inked an agreement with Thailand satellite operator Thaicom to provide broadband Wi-Fi services on many of its aircraft starting in August—ranging from Internet access to other complimentary services in the future.
