United Parcel Service (UPS) chairman and CEO Scott Davis will retire from his chief executive role on Sept. 1, to be replaced as CEO by UPS COO David Abney. Davis has been UPS chairman and CEO since 2008. He will assume the role of non-executive chairman of the company’s board of directors effective Sept. 1, UPS said in a statement.
