Former American Airlines and Etihad Aviation Group executive David Kerr has taken over as CEO of British all-cargo carrier CargoLogicAir, succeeding the airline’s founder Dmitry Grishin.

London Stansted-based CargoLogicAir said Kerr’s responsibilities will include further fleet expansion and network development.

Since launching in February 2016, CargoLogicAir has grown its fleet to three Boeing 747s, serving Frankfurt, Mexico City, Atlanta, Houston, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Hong Kong and Tel Aviv from the UK.

Previously, the airline has indicated it plans to operate five freighters within its first five years of operations.

The airline said Grishin “contributed significantly” to the airline’s launch and initial growth phases.
