International Airlines Group (IAG) has appointed Javier Sánchez-Prieto as the new chairman and CEO of Spanish low-cost carrier (LCC) Vueling. He replaces Alex Cruz, who is due to become chairman and CEO of British Airways. IAG is parent company to Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and Vueling.
