Air Malta’s board has appointed Clifford Chetcuti as CEO, effective Sept. 1. Chetcuti will take over from Joseph Galea, who joined the airline in 2014 as deputy CCO and has been acting CEO since 2016. “Mr. Galea’s contract ends in August and he had informed the airline that he has decided to branch into tourism consultancy,” Air Malta said.
