US carriers post nearly 82% on-time arrival rate in 2012

US carriers posted an 81.85% on-time arrival rate in 2012, compared to 79.6% in 2011, according to the US Dept. of Transportation’s (DOT) Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS).
