Romania’s Aerostar doubles MRO capacity

Romanian aerospace company Aerostar will double its MRO capacity with the imminent opening of a new hangar. The company, which holds Part 145 approvals for the Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and BAe 146/Avro RJ families, will open the new 5,000 sq. m. facility at its Bacau base in northeast Romania within the next few weeks, according to Aerostar director aviation MRO Ovidiu Buhai.
