Continental Airlines estimated its consolidated September RASM increased 4%-5% over the year-ago month as it reported a 7.2% year-over-year rise in August unit revenues. It flew 6.9 billion consolidated RPMs in September, up 11.5%. Capacity grew 9.9% to 8.83 billion ASMs and load factor rose 1.2 points to 78.2%.
