Lufthansa on Friday launched a six-month trial operating scheduled flights partially powered by biofuel on the Hamburg-Frankfurt route (ATW Daily News, June 12). An LH Airbus A321 will fly the route four times daily "with one of its engines running on a 50/50 mix of regular fuel and biosynthetic kerosene," the airline said.
