EasyJet chairman Michael Rake has announced plans to step down as easyJet non-executive director and chairman this summer. Rake, who has been easyJet chairman since January 2010, survived an attempt by easyJet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou to have him removed by vote at an extraordinary general meeting in August 2012.
