Chinese carriers’ profit expected to drop 25.2% in 2012

Chinese carriers are expected to report a collective 25.2% drop in net profit to CNY20.99 billion ($3.34 billion), from CNY26 billion reported in 2011.

Chinese carriers are expected to report a collective 25.2% drop in net profit to CNY20.99 billion ($3.34 billion), from CNY26 billion reported in 2011. According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), international passenger boardings were 11.1% for the first 11 months of this year, up 9% to 293 million for the first 11 months of this year. Passenger boardings rose 8.8% on domestic routes. The CAAC estimated passenger boardings would climb 9.2% to 320 million passengers ...
