Boeing reports $1 billion 2Q profit

Boeing has reported a second-quarter net income increase 2.8% to $967 million on revenues of $20 billion after its Commercial Airplanes group increased aircraft deliveries by 27%.

Courtesy, Boeing Boeing has reported a second-quarter net income increase 2.8% to $967 million on revenues of $20 billion after its Commercial Airplanes group increased aircraft deliveries by 27%. Boeing Commercial Airplanes saw second-quarter revenue increase 34% to $11.8 billion. The company booked 28 net orders during the quarter and said its backlog stands at about 4,000 aircraft valued at $302 billion.
