Aeroflot to launch Wi-Fi on 26 aircraft

Russia’s Aeroflot will equip 26 long-haul aircraft with Wi-Fi Internet access by year end.

Russia’s Aeroflot will equip 26 long-haul aircraft with Wi-Fi Internet access by year end. According to a carrier statement, the service will be available in the first quarter on 12 Airbus A330s and three Boeing 777s to be delivered soon. During the year it plans to implement Internet on one more 777 and seven A330s. Aeroflot will add six more Wi-Fi-equipped 777s in 2014, three in 2015 and three in 2016.
