West Africa’s newest carrier, Gambia Bird (3G), launched scheduled services across West Africa and into Europe Oct. 22, one week later than planned.

The Banjul-based carrier (BJL) operates Airbus A319 flights to Accra, Monrovia, Dakar, Freetown, Conakry, London Gatwick and Barcelona. Flights to Lagos will begin shortly.
