Sun Country Airlines ended a 10-month search for a new chief executive yesterday, naming AirTran CFO Stan Gadek as its new president and CEO effective March 10. Jay Salmen, president of SCA parent Petters Aviation, will step down as interim CEO and serve as vice chairman of the Minneapolis/St. Paul-based carrier.
