Singapore Airlines Group reported a net profit attributable to shareholders of S$235 million ($141.8 million) for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, down 7.9% compared to a net profit of S$255 million in the prior-year period. Total revenue rose 11.7% to S$3.04 billion but total expenses climbed 15.3% to S$2.79 billion as higher fuel prices added S$363 million (before hedging) to expenditure.
