Ryanair officially launches bid as rival boards squabble

Ryanair yesterday confirmed to the Dublin and London stock exchanges its takeover offer for Aer Lingus. In the offer document unveiled last week (ATWOnline, Oct. 23), the LCC maintained its initial bid of €2.80 ($3.53) per share for the recently privatized national carrier.
