Republic Airways Holdings posted net income of $13.4 million for the second quarter ended June 30, up 85.2% over net income of $7.2 million in the prior-year period. Total operating revenues rose 35.8% to $188.8 million primarily as a result of a 40.7% increase in ASMs and a 26.5% jump in block hours.
