Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary late last week continued to insist he was serious about charging for onboard lavatory use but issued a rare mea culpa regarding the LCC's investment in rival Aer Lingus. I see a huge future for EI should it be allowed for them to be run O'Leary style. The EI brand persuing the public in a Vueling style, offering Europe affordable flights accross the pond with a DUB/SNN hub system, seperating the real no frills flying bus service provided by FR, from a low cost/ affordable ticket operation offered under the EI brand. Unfortunately, only time will prove that this was the best for all parties involved.
