Mesaba joins Northwest in bankruptcy

Mesaba Aviation filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection yesterday, a victim of the financial problems at Northwest Airlines, which sought bankruptcy last month and defaulted on $30 million in payments related to Mesaba's participation in the Northwest Airlink program.
