Lufthansa ends cooperation with Augsburg Airways

Lufthansa (LH) has ended its cooperation with regional partner Augsburg Airways (IQ) from October 2013, as part of its €1.5 billion cost-cutting program SCORE.

By Rob Finlayson Lufthansa (LH) has ended its cooperation with regional partner Augsburg Airways (IQ) from October 2013, as part of its €1.5 billion cost-cutting program SCORE (ATW Daily News, Aug. 2). LH wants to focus its regional feed exclusively to its subsidiaries, LH CityLine and Air Dolomiti. IQ is the second regional airline to lose LH as its main client. Earlier this year, Stuttgart-based Contact Air also lost its contract and has been sold to OLT Express Germany ...
