Kenya Airways (KQ) posted a strong year-on-year 18.2% increase in passengers carried to 1 million in its fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30. Traffic jumped 14.8% on the year-ago period to 2.83 billion RPKs on a much lower increase of 7.3% in capacity to 3.64 billion ASKs, resulting in a 5.1 points rise of the average cabin factor to 77.8%.
